A lyric from a bing crosby song really resonated with me today.
"If you want the things you love you must have showers".
This is so true. Of course we all want the good times and hate the bad times but that is human nature. Maybe to truly appreciate the good we have to experience the bad as well. I am a true believer in the saying that we are only given what we can handle. Maybe these things make us stronger and let us truly enjoy the good when it comes along.
I am going to try and keep this in mind next time I start feeling like my life is sucky!
