My new years resolution is to change my outlook on life. I know I picked a hard one but its something that is needed.
2008 was rough year. We moved to somewhere we like less, my work situation is not good and we have had some real personal struggles and losses this year. All in all no fun. BUT these trials and tribulations have shaped who I am so I cant wish that they didnt happen I just have to learn from them and go on.
I will be the first to admit I have been in a funk for a while now and that I have been having a super pity party but that has got to change.
Some things I need to keep in mind...
Only I can make myself happy
Things dont happen to me, they happen because of me
Live in the now, dont worry about the past or future (read Power of now, amazing book)
Relax and follow gods plan
These are all things I need to remind myself on a daily basis =)
I am really gonna try and relax, enjoy life and move forward to all the good things waiting for me. Here is to a great 2009.

Update
Man time flies. Its already christmas. well atleast in a few days it is. I am freezing my butt off here. It was 1 degree this morning with a windchill of -17. BRRRRR. I hate this weather but what can i do but endure.
Not much exciting going on here. Things are about the same except there has been a development at work. I am meeting with the boss lady this week to discuss our hours. She has decided that I am not working enough hours. That more hours will equal more business (which it wont) so her plan is for me to work 8:30-6:30 5 days a week and maybe more hours than that. Fun fun fun. As if I dont hate this place enough already. UGH.
I guess time will tell what happens with all this. I am trying to stay positive and get motivated but it is so hard.
Here is hoping for some great holidays and a fantastic new year!!!!

Genetically Modified Corn Lowers Fertility
Check this study out. This is scary.
Genetically modified corn has been linked to a threat to fertility in an official study that could deliver a hammer blow to controversial 'Frankenstein Food'.A long-term feeding trial commissioned by the Austrian government found mice fed on GM corn or maize had fewer offspring and lower birth rates. The trial has triggered a call from Greenpeace for a recall of all GM food crops currently on the market worldwide on the grounds of the threat to human health. Most of the research on GM crop safety has been conducted by biotech companies, such as Monsanto, rather than outside independent laboratories.GM advocates have argued that the fact the US population has been eaten some types of GM food for more than a decade is proof of its safety. However, these reassurances have been turned on their head by the study commissioned by the Austrian Ministries for Agriculture and Health, which was presented yesterday at a scientific seminar in Vienna.Professor Dr Jurgen Zentek, Professor for Veterinary Medicine at the University of Vienna and lead author of the study, said a GM diet effected the fertility of mice.GM expert at Greenpeace International, Dr Jan van Aken, said: 'Genetically Engineered food appears to be acting as a birth control agent, potentially leading to infertility.'If this is not reason enough to close down the whole biotech industry once and for all, I am not sure what kind of disaster we are waiting for.'Playing genetic roulette with our food crops is like playing Russian roulette with consumers and public health.' The Austrian scientists performed several long-term feeding trials with laboratory mice over a course of 20 weeks. One of the studies was a so-called reproductive assessment by continuous breeding (RACB) trial, in which the same parent generation gave birth to several litters of baby mice. The parents were fed either with a diet containing 33per cent of GM maize, a hybrid of Monsanto's MON 810 and another variety, and a normal feed mix.. The team found changes that were 'statistically significant' in the third and fourth litters produced by the mice given a GM diet. There were fewer offspring, while the young mice were smaller.Prof Zentek said there was a direct link between the changes seen and the GM diet.A press release from the Austrian Agency for Health and Nutrition, said the group of mice given a diet of genetically engineered corn saw a significant change in fertility. It said: 'The number of litters and offspring decreased in the GE-fed group faster than in the control. In the GE-fed group more females remained without litters than in the control group.'Monsanto press offices in the UK and USA were unable to provide a comment on the findings.CropGen, which speaks for the biotech industry, claims GM crops have been accepted as safe by Government authorities on both sides of the Atlantic.British scientists recently unveiled a GM purple tomato they claimed could help people avoid developing cancer. The tomato is high in antioxidants - naturally found in other fresh produce such as blueberrys, cranberries and carrots - which are seen as a protection against ill health.http://www. dailymail. co. uk/health/article-1085060/Why-eating-GM-food-lower-fertility. html#

teaching
Teaching is going great! we are half way through the quarter and i am enjoying it. So much so that actually they put in a request to make me full time faculty! nothing is official yet but they are trying to work it out. this would be great! especially considering my terrible office situation. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed!
resolution on the dallas situation
well. i finally got the approval to go to dallas. granted i have to pay a cover doc for 2 full days which will cost me 650, but i was allowed to go. my favorite part is she told me that if i was more intelligent i would have asked then bought the ticket. Nothing like being insulted by your boss!

Interesting...
As the whole world knows at this point, things have been pretty rough at work lately. Well I am trying to project new opportunities for myself and a positive future. It just might be working.
My program offered me 3 classes next quarter. it is still only 18 hours but it is something,
I just saw an add on the internet for the college I teach at for the medical assisting program, they need an A&P teacher among other things.
Maybe just maybe if I could put both of these together, it would be enough for me to make it.
I am going to keep projecting good thoughts, the sad part is one of them is to get fired so that I can get the heck out of here!

dallas
I was super excited last Friday because I booked a flight to dallas for a weekend to attend the parker seminars in September. I got a good price on a flight and was very excited to go. Well I told my boss that I was planning on attending and she said no. she said I cant be gone from the office because we are not busy enough for me to miss. (this was in a note on my desk, she couldnt speak to me in person). So I called and left a message that I wanted to talk about it and she would not return my phone call. So today I called her husband and the receptionist screened my call and 2 hours later the wife called me back. she was basically telling me I could not go.
My argument is
1 this is not paid time off
2 hire a fill in (which I have to pay for)
3 at this point i will have been there 6 1/2 months and i am entitled to 1 day off which is for a seminar
she still says no. then i say i have booked the flight already. after finding like 10 ways to put me down on the phone she says she will talk to her husband and let me know on monday.
seriously i dont think I am asking for much but obviously i am.
If she tells me no, I may not be able to stick this crap out much longer. at all!

busy weekend
another busy weekend went by. I swear I need a weekend to recover from the weekend.
Saturday we went to yellow springs to check out the hippies. I was really excited for this because I love the hippies but it wasnt as great as I thought it would be. It is just kind of a tour trap. It was ok but I was expecting more. Then we ran around town the rest of the afternoon.
Sunday we went and did some gardening. Things are slowing down lately. I got a bunch of black beans and lima beans but the wax and yellow beans are finishing up. The pumpkins on the other hand are crazy. seriously a few of my vines are about 15 feet by now! I also put in some cucumbers and some snow peas last week and they are starting to sprout.
This week I am going to see my new nephew bc jeremy is coming to town, I am meeting an animal massage therapist, i have work, class, prep work and i have to sleep at some point. lol
Another busy week in the works.....

maybe I am too nice
I had an appointment to meet a massage therapist who is certified in animal massage and I was super excited to meet her and make the connection. Well she no showed our meeting and I called her twice with no response. I was pretty disappointed.
Well she just emailed me (about 5 hours after our meeting time) apologizing and saying she had some family medical things last night, came home this morning and fell asleep and missed our meeting. I believe her and am willing to give it another try. I just hope I dont get blown off again. If I do I am going to be majorly upset. Oh well, I can either be hateful or forgiving and optimistic. I might as well be positive and maybe something good will happen!

this is bleak...
Dayton, the city I currently work in and live very close to is on the forbes list as one of the fastest dying cities in the country. Well that sucks.
I am not surprised, GM is a major employer here and they are closing plants left and right. What a bummer though. Hopefully the city can diversify and create some jobs for people. Dayton may be falling apart, but the whole US is not far behind. We need to focus our attention on these problems and do something about it. I guess we will see what november brings....

back in action.......finally
Sorry I have been MIA for the last month! Life has been sooo busy. I am working full time at the office. that is going ok. we are getting busier so that is good, the owner is just determined to be unhappy with me, for stupid things. but whatever, I am trying to keep my positive outlook on life.
I have been teaching my class for the last month and it is going great! I am really enjoying teaching but it is a ton of work. I feel like a student again. My weekends and evening are consumed with prep work. the night before class I stay up and finish getting everything ready. But it is good, and next quarter it will be great bc I wont have much prep to do. Today I upgraded and did a full powerpoint presentation for class. It made me feel like an official teacher using powerpoint. (I am a nerd I know).
Not much else is going on. I always enjoy my animal adjustments and I found a massage therapist on the internet in my town who does animal massage and we are going to get together Saturday. I think we will be great resources for each other.
The garden is coming along great. It has really turned into a family affair! I get mid week updates (it is at my inlaws house) and we go and garden each week and usually stay for sunday dinner so that has been great!
I am looking forward to this fall. I am planning on going to dallas in september for a conference and I cant wait for that! Another birthday is coming up before I know it, as well as both dogs bdays and our 5 year wedding anniversary. It should be a good season.
I promise not to abandon the blog again....I really do!

teaching
my first day of teaching was today. I just finished up my class. 5 hours of pathology, I am tired!
I never realized how much work was required for one class. I probably put in 15 hours of prep for this week. Now I have to start over for next week. EEK.
I really did enjoy it though. My students are very nice. I am looking forward to a good semester.

weekend
Another busy weekend this weekend. Saturday was very busy in columbus. Got to have lunch with the girls then saw a few animal patients. That is always fun. Then I ran a few errands while I was in cbus. Saturday night watched the other boleyn girl. It was ok. Then sunday went and tended the garden. This week I got a big yield. a full bag of lettuce, a full bag of spinach, 3 monster zucchini and a handful of sugar snap peas. YUM!
I am going to be swimming in beans and zucchini in a few weeks so everyone be prepared to take some off my hands!

Teaching
I am officially an adjunct professor! I am going to be teaching a class at Southwestern College. It is a pathology class 1 day a week from 9-2. I am very excited about this. While I was hoping to do more in the teaching realm, I think this will be a good way for me to test the waters and open some doors!
website
I got my animal chiropractic website up and running.

rant
This is a major rant so be prepared.
My boss is a stupid asshole. Today we were supposed to get paid. This should be simple enough, we are both direct deposit and she has a payroll service so all she has to do is to sign off on it and we get paid. Well today neither of our pay was in our accounts. So D. called her on it and her excuse.......
I thought today was Thursday!
What a Fing moron! Grrrrrr.
So now I guess things are taken care of and we should get paid by Tuesday but this is unacceptable. Use your brain just 1 time every 2 weeks to make sure we get paid!
I think I am jinxed, every time I say that things are getting better she does something ridiculous like this.
On a positive note I got 2 calls about teaching today so if I could get 1 or both to work out I may get out of that death trap!

jungle
we have upgraded from garden to jungle. with all this rain things are growing like crazy. My zucchini plants doubled in size and all 3 have little zucchinis starting to form on them. the 1 that i thought i killed is even coming back to life. the old leaves are dead but a new one is sprouting out the top. all the beans are huge but no pods yet. My pea plants are bush plants not climbers but they have gotten so big they are doubled over, so I am not sure what to do with that. to support or not is the question?!
I also harvested again. 2 bags of lettuce and 1 bag of spinach. not a bad take!
I am hoping to hit one of the farmers fields this week and pick some strawberries before the season ends. I really like gardening. If only everything went so well i didnt know what to do with myself. lol.

cool website
I hate when strange phone numbers are on the caller ID and you have no idea where they are from so I google the area code a lot. Well I found this cool website. it is http://www.reversephonedetective.com/
you type in the phone number and it will tell you the city and state the number is from. It doesn't give the person's name but at least you can tell what part of the country is calling you. I thought it was pretty cool! and its free!

I murdered a zucchini!
My garden is doing great! I got my first harvest yesterday, which consisted of a bag of mixed lettuce. Everything is growing and I am looking for my first pea and bean pods to start any time now.
But I had the genius idea to move one of my zucchini plants away from the another. bad move. I was very careful and gentle but it still died as soon as I moved it. Within an hour all the leaves had wilted. So now there are 3 zucchini plants. oh well everyone says 3 will give me plenty of zucchini.
I just cant believe I murdered 1!

Feeling a little philosophical
A lyric from a bing crosby song really resonated with me today.
"If you want the things you love you must have showers".
This is so true. Of course we all want the good times and hate the bad times but that is human nature. Maybe to truly appreciate the good we have to experience the bad as well. I am a true believer in the saying that we are only given what we can handle. Maybe these things make us stronger and let us truly enjoy the good when it comes along.
I am going to try and keep this in mind next time I start feeling like my life is sucky!

Cell Phone Use During Pregnancy Can Seriously Damage Your Baby
Women who use mobile phones when pregnant are more likely to give birth to children with behavioral problems, according to a study of more than 13,000 children.Pregnant women using the handsets just two or three times a day was enough to raise the risk of their babies developing hyperactivity and difficulties with conduct, emotions and relationships by the time they reached school age.The likelihood is even greater if the children themselves used the phones before the age of 7.Specifically, mothers who used mobile phones were 54 percent more likely to have children with behavioral problems. When the children also later used the phones themselves, they were:
80 percent more likely to suffer from difficulties with behavior
25 percent more at risk from emotional problems
34 percent more likely to suffer from difficulties relating to their peers
35 percent more likely to be hyperactive
49 percent more prone to problems with conduct. The results of the study took the top scientists who conducted it by surprise. The research will carry particular weight because one of its authors, UCLA's Professor Leeka Kheifets, had previously been skeptical that mobile phones could pose a risk to health.
Dr. Mercola's Comments:
This study provides some frightening projections of what could happen to future generations if the dangers of cell phones are not taken seriously. The risk "is not much lower than the risk to children's health from tobacco or alcohol,” says the Russian radiation watchdog body, yet while most people wouldn’t think of handing a pregnant woman or a child a cocktail and a cigarette, no one thinks twice in handing them a cell phone. And therein lies the danger.I believe that one day the excessive use of cell phones that occurs today will look as ridiculous as the cigarette ads that ran in the Journal of the American Medical Association in the 1920s now do.But in the meantime, the over 1 billion people who use cell phones on a regular basis are putting their health at risk -- along with the health of their children and those waiting to be born. The study above is far from being the first one showing that the electromagnetic radiation from cell phones poses a hazard to a developing fetus. Animal studies have shown that electromagnetic fields in that frequency range can affect their liver enzymes, glands, muscles, hormone balance, and heart and bone marrow. In fact, the cellular stresses caused by information-carrying radio waves can actually alter the DNA structure of both you and your child.Autonomic nervous system expert Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt has noted this radiation can easily flip certain genes in the mitochondria. If this gene sequence is altered in a pregnant woman, she can pass her damaged mitochondria on to the child. The child can then develop a mitochondrial disorder, which can include muscular atrophy and severe developmental problems. And of course, in addition to harming your unborn baby, it is also causing the same damage to you. It’s Not Only Cell Phones That are the ProblemInformation-carrying radio waves -- from cell phones, WiFi routers, land-based portable phones and other wireless devices -- have increased dramatically and exponentially over the last few years. Most major office buildings now have WiFi, as do Starbuck’s, Panera Bread, and most libraries. This means that you are being exposed to massive amounts of radio waves whether you actually use wireless or not.The cell phone industry often makes the case that their products are not harmful because radio waves do not create enough thermal heat to pose a risk to biological tissue. However, the biological damage is NOT related to thermal heat damage. It is related to the modulated signals that are carried ON the carrier microwave, and the carrier wave itself. The modulated information-carrying radio waves resonate in biological frequencies of a few to a few hundred cycles per second, and can stimulate your vibrational cellular receptors, causing a whole cascade of pathological consequences that can culminate in fatigue, anxiety and ultimately cancers. A lot of the damage is caused by the disruption of microtubular connections that allow biophotons to communicate between cells, which decreases intracellular communication. Increased deposits of heavy metals also begin to accumulate in your cells, which increases intracelluar production of free radicals, and can radically decrease cellular production of energy, thus making you incredibly fatigued.Keep Cell Phones Away From Your ChildrenI hope that many of you reading this will take this warning to heart. The density of children’s skulls is far less than adults’, and their brains are more susceptible to damage from information-carrying radio waves. And a child in utero may be near defenseless against this damage.Aside from the startling findings of this study linking mothers’ cell phone use to their childrens’ behavioral problems, I believe that the increase in cell phone usage is one of the primary causes of the autism epidemic. The information-carrying radio waves makes the vaccine and heavy metal exposure much more dangerous than they typically are. It’s very important that you keep cell phones away from infants, babies, children and pregnant women now, as the damage may not start showing up for 10 years or more, and by then it will be too late.Minimizing Your Cell Phone Risks I am so convinced of the dangers of information-carrying radio waves that I completely renovated my new home prior to moving in earlier this year so that I have no wireless connections at all.Of course, I doubt the whole of society is going to revert back to wired connections, so I urge you to take the following precautions for your health, and the health of your family:
Do not use a cell phone if you’re pregnant, and don’t allow your children to use them.
Limit the amount of time you spend on a cell phone or cordless phone.
Use a wired headset to limit your exposure to the cell phone -- ideally, an air tube headset that conducts sound but prevents any radiation from traveling up the wire to your brain. Also, make sure the wire is SHIELDED, which prevents it from acting as an antenna that could attract more information-carrying radio waves directly to your brain. Wireless BlueTooth headsets should be avoided.
Limit your exposure to WiFi routers. Find out where they are located in your work environment and stay away from them.
If you have any land-based (non-cellular) portable phones, do NOT use anything other than the 900 MHz phones, as the Gigahertz phones stay on continuously, blasting you with information-carrying radio waves 24/7.
Use the speakerphone instead of putting the phone to your ear; this is probably one of the single most important steps you can take other than not using your cell phone.
Limit calls inside buildings.
Use your cell phone only where the reception is good. When the reception is poor, your phone has to work harder, and therefore emits a much stronger radiation signal.

Interesting article on the neurology of sexual pleasure
I find it very interesting that sugar kills your sex drive. See below.
Sexual desire, as well as orgasm, are controlled by various influences on the brain and nervous system. Researchers have revealed many similarities between men and women; contrary to popular belief, for example, visual stimuli spur sexual stirrings in both.
Brain imaging studies show that achieving orgasm involves far more than merely heightened arousal. It requires a release of inhibitions, culminating in a shutdown of the brain’s center of vigilance in both sexes, and a widespread neural power failure in women.
The fascinating Scientific American article linked below explores the body of research on this compelling and universal subject.
Dr. Mercola's Comments:
Sexual desire and orgasm are far from simple issues that can be resolved by taking hormones or popping a pill that will turn your world into varying shades of blue. There are a host of influences on your brain and nervous system that control your sex glands and genitals, and some of those influences are your very thoughts themselves.
Anxiety, defensiveness, fear, and failure of communication are destructive psychological forces that can take a heavy toll on your libido, whether you’re a man or a woman, by acting as road blocks to desire. According to Professor Gert Holstege with the University of Groningen in the Nederlands, “Fear and anxiety need to be avoided at all costs if a woman wishes to have an orgasm.”
It All Starts in Your Brain
Every erection begins in your brain. Your brain stem emits nerve impulses that control erectile function. These nerve impulses navigate through the erection center of your spinal column to the erectile tissue of your penis, where they trigger a chain reaction in the membranes of your vascular muscle cells. This sophisticated chain reaction is dependent on a messenger molecule called cyclic guanosine monophosphate, or cGMP.
However, this works in reverse as well; an erection softens as soon as another enzyme called phosphodiesterase starts to degrade the cGMP molecules.
Drugs like Viagra, Levitra and Cialis, work by inhibiting phosphodiesterase, which may help maintain your erection. But, these pills will not create an erection in and of themselves. Your initial erection still has to be triggered psychologically. Without that initial impetus, potency pills will have no effect whatsoever.
This is also why these pills are ineffective for many men who take them hoping for a magic jack-in-the-box effect.
Bigger, Better, Longer, Stronger – The Myths That Make Reality Shrivel
The pressures of “performance and potency” itself is a large contributor to impotence, and this theme is pushed continually in advertising, whether related to sexual potency drugs or the latest razor.
Studies by sexual psychologist and popular author Bernie Zilbergeld have shown that most men with potency problems believe in these advertised myths. Zilbergeld also pointed out that many of these men engage in what he called “spectatoring,” in which the man gets stuck in observing and assessing the sexual situation as if he’s an outsider, rating the woman’s expectations and what he can deliver.
And then there’s stress. But it’s not necessarily the type of stress typically portrayed by the media. Turns out the problem is rarely the work stress itself, but rather it’s a transference of work performance standards to your sex life. Approaching your sex life with that same attitude; feeling pressured to perform to certain standards, can turn the act of love into another grueling task that must be completed, and completed well.
Scientific Research is Not Altruistic
As this article points out, all this research into the mechanics of your love life is not done for some altruistic purpose. Scientists don’t necessarily care about figuring this out in order to help you understand yourself better and improve your life.
This research is done to create medications that act on your nervous system to stimulate desire, which, I believe is a travesty to love itself.
Instead of dealing with your emotional and psychological issues that are blocking you from connecting with and feeling desire for your partner, you may soon be able to take a pill that removes the very act of needing to feel anything.
One such experimental compound already under development is a peptide called bremelanotide. It works by blocking receptors in your brain that are involved in regulating basic drives such as eating and sex. In human studies bremelanotide has triggered spontaneous erections in men, and boosted sexual arousal and desire in women.
Side effects? Rising blood pressure, for starters.
As convenient as these drugs may appear, impotence drugs contribute to infertility, heart problems and can even blind you. And taking synthetic hormones in hopes of putting the spring back into your step causes all sorts of terrible health problems too.
Getting Your Sex Life Back on Track the Natural Way
Did you know that boosting your sex drive may be as easy as cutting out sugar?
According to a study published last year in the Journal of Clinical Investigation, high levels of sugar in your bloodstream can turn off the gene that controls your sex hormones.
Simple sugars (glucose and fructose), are metabolized in your liver, with the excess stored as fat lipids. Excess fat synthesis in turn deactivates your SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin) gene, causing your levels of SHBG protein to drop dramatically, and it is this SHBG protein that controls your testosterone and estrogen levels. As you can see, there’s no end to the negative health ramifications of eating too much sugar!
Other ways to help get your sex life back on track (and improve your health as a happy side effect!) include these natural alternatives to treating sexual dysfunction:
The neurotransmitter that triggers the sexual message, in both men and women, is acetylcholine (ACH). With too little ACH, sexual activity goes down. One way to safely and effectively enhance ACH levels in your body is to take choline supplements (1,000-3,000 mg) and vitamin B5 (500-1,500 mg).
Studies have shown active men who engage in regular physical activity lowered their risk of experiencing sexual dysfunction. So start an exercise program guys! Remember, when using exercise as a drug, it’s important to set a goal of 60 to 90 minutes per day, every day. Obviously, depending on your current condition, you may need to work slowly up to this level.
Optimize your diet based on your body's unique nutritional type. We each have a unique nutritional type with varying demands for the ratios of macronutrients (fats, proteins and carbohydrates) to function optimally. This is why you may respond well to a low-carb diet while your friend on the same exact diet might not.
Because sexual dysfunction can worsen due to stress and anxiety, take control of your emotions by learning the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). EFT is a psychological acupressure technique that can help you effectively address your stress-related thoughts and leave you feeling calmer and more able to face your challenges, whatever they may be.

garden update!
Things are growing like crazy! I am very excited about this garden. The only think that is still questionable is the cantaloupe. there is maybe 1 plant sprouting up. The pumpkins are up (7 plants) and 4 zucchini plants are taking off. The picture above is exactly 4 weeks after I planted the seeds. Hopefully I will be swimming in produce this summer!

Great information on Cancer
I read a really great book about a year ago and this email I got (the info is supposed to be from John Hopkins) is very siimilar to the book so I thought I would post the info.
AFTER YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE CHEMOTHERAPY IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRY (TRY THE KEY WORD) AND ELIMINATE CANCER, JOHN HOPKINS IS FINALLY STARTING TO TELL YOU THERE IS an alternative way.
Cancer Update from John Hopkins
1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.
2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime
3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.
4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.
5. To over come the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.
6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.
7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.
8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.
9 When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.
10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.
11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.
CANCER CELLS FEED ON:
a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in color.Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.
b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus.By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk cancer cells are being starved.
c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.
d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts)and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).
e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water-best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it
12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become purified and leads to more toxic buildup.
13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.
14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the bodies own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.
15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger, unforgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.
16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food.

Weekend
I have a very busy but fun weekend in store! Saturday I am headed to Cbus for a few animal adjustments, then a bbq and then to see the sex and the city movie! I am really looking forward to this movie, the reviews aren't great but I cant wait to see it anyway.
Then Sunday it is off to Greenville to garden and help Matt paint. That should be fun, exhausting but fun. Also I have to make cookies, I promised them to someone and I had better deliver.
I am going to need a weekend after my weekend just to recover!

what to do?
Well I had a good meeting this morning with another chiro. We really hit it off but she was kind of vague about some things (granted it was our first meeting). So now I am just not sure what steps to take. Thank GOD for my friends who are full of good advice and practical experience. She wants me to work part time (Saturdays) to test the water and make sure its a good fit. I may just do that on the side and see what I think. It seems like a good way to find out what this place is like. I am open to comments, give me your thoughts!

I had a very busy weekend. Thank goodness it was 3 days!
Saturday I went to St. Marys. On my way I did my first dog transport. It was great! I took 3 adorable beagle mix puppies. They were so sweet and cute! I really enjoyed myself!
Then I saw some friends and family and saw the new Indiana Jones. It was actually very good. I really liked it. I even had some much needed girl time!
Sunday we went to the Jeffersonville outlets. Nothing exciting there, but Paul and I had a serious talk about the future and we came up with a little game plan for the next few years!
Monday we cleaned then went to paul's parents for dinner and I worked on the garden. It is coming along great! Everything is growing like crazy! They only think that hasn't come up yet is cantaloupe. I even have 4 pumpkin plants up. The lima beans aren't looking to great but they are trying. Much to my surprise the black beans look awesome. I cant wait to dig into some of this great produce!
That was about the extent of my weekend. Tomorrow I have a meeting that I am looking forward to then its back to work in the afternoon. I guess all fun has to end sometime...........

Excited
I am doing my first dog transport on Saturday. I am on a transport list, so basically what happens is dogs get rescued from one area and transported to another to be with a rescue or get a new home. So people sign up for legs of the trip. I am going home anyway so I signed up for the dayton to lima leg. I will be transporting 3 beagle mix puppies! I cant wait. Ever since I saw the movie year of the dog I have wanted a beagle so I am looking forward to meeting these little girls and helping them get into a good situation!

When is enough enough?
I have been struggling with something lately and I am having a hard time deciding if I should push on or call it quits... Normally I am one who just keeps on pushing and doesn't give up, but sometimes that can really be a fault. If the negatives out weigh the positives maybe its time to give up the fight. I go back and forth on this a lot. Some days I think I am so done, others I think I can I hang in their for a while and see how it goes. I am just not sure what to do. I guess for now I will hang in there but maybe I will start to check out some of my other options...just to see.
Garden
Well I am 2 weeks in on my garden adventure. So far so good! The carrots, beets, lettuce, peas, sugar snap peas and black beans are growing like crazy. The spinach, green beans, yellow beans and lima beans are starting to sprout and I have 3 or 4 zucchini plants started. The only things that aren't showing any signs of growth are the pumpkins and the cantaloupe. I am hoping they are just taking a little bit longer to surface. We will see. Hopefully in a month or so I will have plenty of veggies to eat!

The office!
Tonight's finale of the office was amazing! But I am so upset that Jim didn't propose to Pam. Stupid Andy ruined everything.
Their were lots of surprises though....
a pregnancy
an engagement (again not the one I wanted)
and a total hookup at the office
What a great episode. Now I have to wait it out till September to see what happens next..........

wierdness
I just found out that one of the girls I went to chiro school with is marrying one of our old professors. Don't get me wrong if they are happy then I am happy but a small part of me is totally weirded out! She is my age and he has to be around 60 and has a daughter about our age. Really it is not even the age difference as much as the fact that it was our teacher. I just struggle with the idea of going from Professor can you help me dissect this to Professor do you wanna make out...........(I doubt it really happens quite that way but you get the idea).
Anyway I wish them all the best!

Lauren
Lauren, my 14 year old sister, came up to stay the weekend with me and we had a really nice time. One of the things we had to do was pick a song for her glitter and gold tryouts. We picked Our Song by Taylor Swift and I made her practice all day! Well it paid off. She got a call back for a second tryout! I am so excited for her. I guess we will see what happens!

God bless dogs!
If I thought I couldn't love my dogs anymore I was wrong. Tonight we were out on our usual nightly stroll thru the neighborhood with the pups and something caught Bella's eye. It was a plastic bunny statue about a foot tall with the ears. Bella decided to check it out so for about 3 minutes the dogs stood their and barked at it and kept creeping closer and then quickly darting back. They were so freaked out by it. I was laughing my head off! I finally had to go up to it and knock on it to show them that it was fake. Then they got the courage to go and smell it (and they were still barking).
This was the best part of my day today! God bless all our little angels for giving us much needed comfort, happiness and entertainment!

Garden update!
My garden has been planted for a full week now. Sunday I went to check on its progress and much to my happiness it had already started sprouting! The beets and the lettuce mix are really coming in. Everything else is still looking spotty but I am sure it will come along.
The only bad thing is all this rain has made a lot of my beans surface, I had to go thru and push a bunch of beans back down into the dirt. Otherwise it is going great. Above is a picture 1 week in!

Ladies night
Friday night was my grandma (Janet's) 75th birthday. All of the girls from 3 generations went out to dinner and to my cousin Ashley's after for cake. It was a nice time. I made a delicious peanut butter crunch cake and it was nice for all of us to get together. I just cant believe grandma is 75. She doesn't seem it at all. She is still so young to me. I would put her in her early 60's if I had to guess. I hope I am that young and vibrant when I am 75!
Well anyway we all enjoyed it. Happy Birthday Janet!

The cuteness of a 14 year old
So Lauren my 14 year old sister calls this week with an idea for mother's day for our mom. She wants to take a family picture for her in "coordinated outfits". This would be all good and fine except neither of my brothers will be in town, so the family photo will be her and I. I guess it will be a nice pic of the the 2 of us but I just cracked up when she told me. I also said no matching outfits! This so reminds me of being a kid and my friends and I thought it was so cool to dress alike. lol.
Anyway we agreed on doing it and just having complimentary colors. So she is coming to stay with us for the weekend to get our project done. I am looking forward to her visit, we should have a nice weekend together. (On a side note last time she stayed with us paul showed her the scene from 3 men and a baby with the dead kid on utube and it totally freaked her out and she slept on her mattress on our bedroom floor)
Oh the innocence of youth!

The Office!
Tonight's episode of the office was ok, nothing great. But I really think its leading up to Jim and Pam getting engaged next week! That will make me so happy. I know its only a show but I (and about a million other people) have been rooting for them for a long time. I guess next Thursdays 1 hour season finale will tell the tale!

gardening
So I started my garden this weekend and it felt great! It was very therapeutic to have my hands in the dirt and just feel like a part of the earth. that may sound weird, but I have just felt very lost and disconnected lately. Like nothing is going the way I want so anyway it felt good to feel connected to life again.
I planted beets, carrots, lettuce, spinach, green beans, yellow beans, peas, snow peas, black beans, lima beans, cantaloupe, zucchini and pumpkins! I started everything from seeds. I am really looking forward to watching my garden grow!

This really makes sense!
SLAVE TO SUGAR
Sweets More Addictive Than Dope
Having a hard time cutting back on sweets? New research may explain why: Sugar is possibly even more addictive than cocaine. University of Bordeaux researchers monitored 43 rats given a choice of sugar water or cocaine and found 94% preferred the sweet stuff.
The rodents also demonstrated an overwhelming preference for saccharine, indicating taste (vs. calories) as the driving force and suggesting that artificial sweeteners may be just as addictive as sugar. Increasing the dope dosage did nothing to deter the sweet-addled test subjects. Even more astounding is that when cocaine-addicted rodents were deprived of drugs for 10 days, they still chose the sugar high over a drug fix.
Sugar consumption may elevate levels of the brain chemical dopamine, which in turn intensifies cravings for sweets, thus perpetuating an addictive cycle.
Obesity is not the only result of excessive sugar consumption -- sugar itself can damage your arteries and your skin.
Bonus: Vigorous exercise will not only help you burn more calories and extend your lifespan -- it can also help tame your sweet tooth.
I have got to agree with this. I never had a problem giving up the meat but sweets are killer to give up!

oprah on friday
I hope everyone watched Oprah on Friday, it was a great show! they talked about the bad conditions of puppy mills but also focused on what we can do to stop puppy mills and save dogs lives. In short DO NOT buy from pet stores! 99% of pet store dogs come from puppy mills. a great thing to do is adopt. If we ever get another dog I am definitely adopting. I wish she would have mentioned petfinder.com. its a great resource to find dogs! Hope you all enjoyed the episode!

Massage therapy advisory board
So I had my first meeting of the massage therapy advisory board at southwestern college on Thursday night. the meeting went well. I was the only one there who was not a massage therapist. I learned quite a bit about massage school, got to put in my opinion on their curriculum and hopefully this can lead to a part time faculty spot teaching A & P. She said they should probably have an opening in 3 months. I really want to try teaching I think I would like it!

The government finally acknowledges that mercury causes autism!
U.S. Government Concedes That Mercury Causes Autism
The U.S. government has concluded that childhood vaccines contributed to symptoms of autism in 9-year-old Hannah Poling. The unprecedented concession was in response to one of three test cases that allege the mercury-containing vaccine preservative thimerosal caused autism in children.According to the case, the child was healthy and developing normally until her 18-month well-baby visit, where she received vaccinations for nine diseases, two of which contained thimerosal. Within 48 hours of the shots, Hannah become ill, refused to walk and could not sleep through the night. Within three months, she began showing signs of autism.According to U.S. Division of Vaccine Injury Compensation, the shots "significantly aggravated an underlying mitochondrial disorder" and resulted in a brain disorder "with features of autism spectrum disorder."Although federal officials continue to say there is no link between autism and vaccines, this concession says otherwise. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has determined that Hannah’s family is entitled to compensation from a federal vaccine injury fund in an amount that is still being determined. There are currently 4,900 autism cases pending in Federal "Vaccine Court."

Diet soda
Diet soda makes you GAIN weight.
Skip the Diet Soda
Posted Mon, Mar 24, 2008, 11:33 am PDT
Get ready to ditch your soda habit. I’m kicking Diet Coke — it takes time, and I’m down to five a week from a high of 12, but it’s worth it.
Here’s why: Recent research has shown that artificial sweeteners in soda may interfere with your body’s ability to estimate how many calories you’ve ingested, so you eat more than you need.
In a new rat study, animals that ate fake sugar consumed more calories overall and gained weight, compared to those that didn’t eat artificially sweetened treats.
This is just one study, but it’s enough to make me want to kick the can habit. Need more convincing? For every diet soda you sip daily, your risk of becoming overweight can rise by 37 percent, according to researchers at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. We also know that regular soda is a total sugar bomb — most people I know gave it up long ago. At roughly 225 calories a pop, a 20-ounce bottle of regular soda packs nearly as many calories as a chocolate bar (but is much less satisfying).
Typically, soda also contains zero nutrients — so who needs it? Still have some soda around? Fine, stow it for guests who haven’t decided to quit. Next time you want a fizz hit, try seltzer with lime (or for a caffeine fix, green tea). What are your favorite low-cal soda substitutes?

An alternative painkiller for amputees
This was a really neat article on CNN.
For amputees, an unlikely painkiller: Mirrors
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Army Sgt. Nick Paupore was in the lead Humvee in a convoy rolling through Kirkuk City, Iraq, when the vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb.
In a new therapy for "phantom pain," a mirror is placed next to the remaining leg.
Paupore says it wasn't a very big explosion, more like a loud firecracker. He could feel the rush going through the vehicle, the change of pressure, smoke filling the cab. He felt a burning sensation in the back of his legs, but he wasn't in pain, and he could actually move his legs. He felt lucky. He was alive. He got out of the vehicle, intending to help the others, and passed out.
When he regained consciousness, medics were working on him. The blast had ripped out a chunk of his leg, including 6 to 8 inches of an artery, and he was bleeding out. By the time they had stanched the flow, he had less than two pints of blood left. The average person has 10 pints of blood.
Paupore was flown to Germany, where doctors fought to save his life. He survived, but they couldn't save his leg.
And he was in excruciating pain -- in the leg he no longer had.
Dr. Jack Tsao, a Navy neurologist with the Uniform Services University, was looking for ways to help soldiers like Paupore. He remembered reading in graduate school a paper by Dr. V.S. Ramachandran that talked about an unusual treatment for amputees suffering "phantom limb pain," using a simple $20 mirror.
The mirror tricks the brain into "seeing" the amputated leg, overriding mismatched nerve signals.
Here's how it works: The patient sits on a flat surface with his or her remaining leg straight out and then puts a 6-foot mirror lengthwise facing the limb. The patient moves the leg, flexing it, and watches the movement in the mirror. The reflection creates the illusion of two legs moving together.
Paupore was one of the first to give it a try. At first, he was skeptical. When approached about joining a clinical trial at Walter Reed Army Medical Center to test Tsao's theory, he declined. But sometimes his phantom pains were coming five to six times an hour and lasting up to a minute.
"I was laying in bed and it just, all of a sudden, it felt like I was getting shocked," he said. "I called the nurse, 'cause I was like, 'What's going on?' " The nurse told him, "This is probably your phantom pain."
Tsao explains it this way: "It's the sensation that the limb is still present, and phantom pain in particular is the sensation that the limb is experiencing pain of some form."
That pain is intense, and often medication brings very little relief. For Paupore, it was relentless.
"All of a sudden, it was like someone kept turning on and off the Taser, and my whole leg started twitching. ... I sat up, and I was holding on to my stump, and it just wouldn't stop. At that time, I was hooked up to the Dilaudid [a powerful narcotic], and I was pushing it. But you can push all the medicine in the world, and it won't stop it."
Paupore and 17 other amputees who joined Tsao's mirror therapy trial were randomly assigned to one of three groups. The first group used the mirror to look at their reflected image as they tried to move both legs. The second group used a covered mirror and did the same. And members of the third group were asked to visualize moving their amputated limbs.
After a month of treatment, all of the patients in the mirror group had significantly less phantom pain. In the covered mirror group, only one patient experienced a decrease in pain, and for half of those patients, the pain worsened. Sixty-seven percent of the patients visualizing their limbs got worse instead of better. The pain decreased in almost 90 percent of the patients who then switched to mirror therapy.
It worked wonders for Paupore, 32. Within five months, he was off painkillers completely. Tsao says the difference is like night and day.
"To see him walking, he's able to drive his car; he works downtown; I mean, that is incredibly gratifying!"
Phantom limb pain plagues as many as 95 percent of amputees, Tsao said.
He says even though phantom pain dates to Civil War days, no one knows what causes it. The current thinking is that it has to do with how the brain interprets signals from the pain pathways that are left after amputation.
The neurons that control leg movement are still there, but in the absence of a limb, they are not sure what they're suppose to do and begin firing randomly. Proprioception, the body's ability to sense the position of a limb, tells the body that the limb is still there, sending mismatched signals to the brain.
"The visual neurons are still intact, and they're firing off, telling the brain one thing," Tsao said. "The propriaceptive neurons are firing off, telling the brain something else. ...My thinking is that there is some sort of center in the brain that coordinates these signals. ... Somehow, this mismatched feedback is what's generating the sensation that the limb is frozen or in pain."
Since the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq began, more than 750 amputees have returned home from that area. Walter Reed has treated more than 550 of them. On any given day, between 100 and 125 amputees are there, working to rebuild their lives.
At Reed, mirror therapy is now offered routinely. Tsao says this treatment has the potential to benefit amputees worldwide, and the best part is, no special training is required to do it. He gives interested parties instructions over the phone or by e-mail.
And he's already taken this therapy halfway around the world to Cambodia, a country Tsao says has a large and growing amputee population because of mines left over from its civil war.

Drugs in our drinking water
This is a great article from the green guide (National Geographic) about the contamination of our drinking water by pharmaceuticals.
Drugging Our Drinking Water
3:21 pm - March 11, 2008
A five-month-long Associated Press investigation has found pharmaceutical drugs in the drinking water supplies of 24 major metropolitan areas from Southern California to New York City, which provide water to 41 million Americans. In Philadelphia, the 56 drugs found in the drinking water included "medicines for pain, infection, high cholesterol, asthma, epilepsy, mental illness and heart problems," according to the AP coverage. Only Albuquerque, N.M., Austin, Texas, and Virginia Beach, Va. had clear results. That's good news for them, although it's unclear how many drugs they may have tested for.
And it's not only medications given to people that are a concern. Cattle receive a slow-release anabolic steroid to help them bulk up like weightlifters. Ten percent of that steroid passes through the animal and can wind up in waterways where downstream fish, such as fathead minnows in Nebraska, show increased steroid levels and physical changes.
So what can you do? Bottled water isn't the answer, because steps generally aren't taken to remove pharmaceuticals from it either. Expensive reverse osmosis filters may help remove drugs, but given that this is a long-term rather than an immediate threat, working to keep pharmaceutical drugs from reaching waterways is our best bet. When disposing of drugs, avoid flushing them down the toilet unless specifically directed to by your physician. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the American Pharmacists Association recommend the following disposal methods:
Pour pills into a plastic bag before crushing to prevent airborne particles.
Pour liquid medications into a plastic bag. (Birth control patches may be folded over and disposed of in the garbage.)
Mix kitty litter or coffee grounds in the plastic bag containing the medication.
Seal the plastic bag to reduce the risk of potential poisoning.
Place sealed plastic bag in household trash for disposal.
Remove and destroy all identifying personal information (on the prescription label) from the medication container.
Recycle empty medication container as allowed in the local recycling area or throw it in the trash.
Remember: Don't hold onto excess pills once you're finished taking them.

Beef its not whats for dinner
I know this article is about a month old but in case you haven't heard there was a HUGE recall of beef last month. The humane society did an undercover operation in a meat processing plant and documented the treatment of downed cows. Well the story was on CNN (some of you may have gotten an email from me about it). This just re-enforces why I am a vegetarian! Not only the horrible treatment of these animals but the unhealthy meat that people are eating. Anyway the article is below if you would like to read it.
The Biggest Beef Recall in U.S. History
Filed under: Meat and poultry, Food Safety
10:23 am - February 21, 2008
We now face the biggest beef recall in U.S. history--143 million pounds of beef produced by the Westland/Hallmark Meat Company's, recalled because of potential infection and contamination. That's over five times the amount of the second biggest meat recall in the U.S. (27.4 million pounds of poultry in 2002). Unfortunately, the government agencies in charge of our food safety weren't even the people to first bring this to our attention. It took a secret videotape made by the Humane Society during an undercover operation at a randomly selected meat processing facility (the graphic video can be viewed here). The tape shows cattle who were so sick they could not stand on their own being rolled to the slaughter by fork lift drivers. As The New York Times notes, the plant had five federal inspectors, including a veterinarian, who were evidently unaware of the treatment of these "downer" cattle. These inspectors had relied on Westland/Hallmark employees to notify them about "non-ambulatory" cattle following the pre-slaughter inspection, according to the USDA.
So one wonders about the USDA's statement that the Food Safety and Inspection Service believes this to be "an isolated incident of egregious violations to humane handling requirements and the prohibition of non-ambulatory disabled cattle from entering the food supply." The Humane Society says it witnessed consistent mishandling of downer cattle over the six-week period. Given that the plant was selected at random, it seems unlikely that the Humane Society would find itself at the only plant using such practices.
Most disturbingly, some 37 million pounds of this meat ended up in the U.S. school-lunch supply. While the USDA concludes that safeguards make it very unlikely the animals suffered from "mad cow," that may be scant assurance to concerned parents.
Furthermore, the Center for Science in the Public Interest notes that buyers aren't required to tell their customers if meat they sell is part of the recall. So far, Wegman's is the only retailer to alert customers who may have purchased the meat.
As distressing as this is, safer beef not raised in factory farm conditions is easy to find these days. See "Choosing Healthy Holiday Beef" for suppliers and a Smart Shopper's Card.

We moved........again!
For those of you who haven't heard, we have moved yet again. I swear this is the last time for quite a while. Basically the reason for this move is 2 fold; Paul was not loving Columbus, mostly due to his work situation and my work situation was less than ideal (to say the least)! So we were both keeping our eyes open for other opportunities. Well opportunity knocked twice!
I got offered a position in a satellite office in Dayton. I am the only doctor and there is one other staff member. Paul also got offered a much better job in the Dayton area so we decided to take the leap and move.
On a side note we moved the weekend of "the Blizzard of 08." That pretty much sucked. We were supposed to move on Saturday (and had the truck loaded with ALL of our stuff) but due to the 20" of snow Columbus got we couldn't leave till Sunday at noon. Then we went to start the penske truck and it wouldn't start, we had to wait 3 1/2 hrs for a diesel mechanic to come and jump it..........but we finally made it. We arrived Sunday night (and I started work Monday morning).
We are renting a duplex outside of Troy. So far we are really liking it. Its nice and quite out here and my new workplace is very low stress which is GREAT. I am looking forward to a happy future here, lets hope the universe sees things the same way.

Welcome to my world!
Greetings.
So this is my first ever blog (besides a few posts on myspace) and I just decided that it would be a great way for people to keep up with what is going on in our lives. I am really looking forward to putting all my thoughts and opinions out there (especially since I have so many). This is basically going to be a mix of what we are up to, my opinion on things, funny stories and maybe some interesting info that I come across.
Hope you enjoy the puzzle pieces of my life!
